Tables and Minimum Bets

We run blackjack tables on our main gaming floor with a R50 minimum bet. The casino operates around the clock, so you can sit down to play at any time without arranging a booking.

On the main floor there are 67 gaming tables in total. Blackjack stands alongside roulette, poker and other favourites. Roulette starts from R5 if you prefer modest wagers, while poker tables run with the same R50 minimum as blackjack.

There are 8 American Roulette tables, 5 blackjack tables and 2 poker tables among the main floor offerings. Blackjack seats are generally available without advance reservation. Our team on the floor will assist you in finding a suitable table and will point out the current limits, which may move up during peak traffic times.

Private Gaming Rooms

We also operate three private rooms: Privé Romana, Privé Palermo and Privé Verona. These rooms are positioned next to the Peermont D’oreale Grande hotel inside the resort.

Inside the private area you will find eight tables: one dedicated blackjack table, six American Roulette tables and one Baccarat table. Minimum bets here are set above the standard floor limits to reflect the more premium setting.

Location and Getting Here

Our address is 64 Jones Road, Kempton Park, directly adjacent to OR Tambo International Airport. A shuttle service runs between the casino and the airport roughly every 20 minutes. It lines up with our 24-hour operation so you are not obliged to rely on taxis or rental cars.

For guests who prefer to drive themselves, on-site parking is available close to the main entrance. Parking areas are covered by security surveillance throughout the day and night.

The casino sits within a larger resort that includes three hotels, restaurants, conference venues and entertainment facilities. This means you can link your blackjack play with accommodation, dining and events without leaving the property.

Betting Limits and Rules

Maximum limits differ from table to table and are displayed on placards at each game. Speak to the dealer before placing larger bets if you are unsure of the cap. Note that the minimum bet for Midi Punto Banco is R100.

Minimums for private gaming are confirmed at the time of booking because they may shift with demand. Blackjack rules follow standard casino formats. Dealers take care of dealing the cards, collecting losing bets and paying out wins. If you are not fully comfortable with the rules, ask the dealer for a quick explanation before you start - there is no fee for that.

Currency and Payments

All wagers and payouts are made in South African Rand. Foreign currency is not accepted directly at the tables, so you should exchange your funds at the cashier cages on the casino floor in advance.

Present your cash at the cage and you will receive gaming chips in denominations that work for blackjack. Chip values start at smaller amounts to cover minimum bets and go up to larger plaques suitable for higher stakes.

Winning payouts are issued as chips at the table. You can keep using them for further play or return them to the cashier to convert back into cash. The cage remains open 24/7, in line with the casino.

Age Restrictions and Responsible Gaming

Entry to the casino is restricted to guests aged 18 years or older. Security checks ID at all access points and will turn away anyone who cannot present valid proof of age. The same rule applies in the private rooms.

Minors are not permitted on the gaming floor under any circumstances, including as observers. Families staying at the resort must remain in non-gaming spaces when accompanied by children under 18.
